Sun n Air of Summer Valley

Dover is a different type of Connemara to Lonsdale Moonwind. Foaled in 1997, Dover stands at just over 14hh, and is a dark buckskin. He is the only stallion son of Chiltern Sunsilk.

To date, Dover has only left three registered purebred offspring (a filly and two geldings). Unlike Rebel, it is not through lack of opportunity, but rather through a surfeit of common bloodlines - both his sire, and dam lines are very common in the New Zealand Connemara Pony population. However, because of his correct conformation, movement, his colour, and his wonderful temperament, he is proving a popular sire for breeding partbreds.

Dover has a genuine fondness for human company, and forms strong attachments to certain people. He is a very kind and gentle pony that is an absolute delight to work with, both as a pony and as a stallion.
