Kohatu Sea Wynde

Kohatu Sea Wynde (Cecil). A 2005 gelding by Sun n Air of Summer Valley out of Waterfall Willow Dancer. Cecil has been backed and sold to a family in Canterbury.

Kohatu Harvest Moon

Kohatu Harvest Moon (Holly). A 2005 filly by Lonsdale Moonwind out of Waterfall Moycullen. Holly moves beautifully and has a really good brain. With her sweet temperament and high trainability, she should make a fantastic childs pony. Holly has been sold to a wonderful home, where there are exciting plans for her future.

Kohatu Dark Isle

Kohatu Dark Isle (Isla). The last of the 2005 foals (born in February 2006), Isla is by Newlands Gideon out of Biwmares Madonna, and was imported in utero. Isla is bold and inquisitive, and as a result shows every indication of being a capable jumper.

Kohatu Rose Moon

Kohatu Rose Moon (Rose). A 2006 filly by Lonsdale Moonwind out of Canningvale Bonnie Sue. Sue has been a consistant producer of very good ponies, and while Rose has some big shoes to fill, with her balance and attitude we think she will be very competitive. Water, banks, ditches, bridges (over and under) - none of these things hold any fear for Rose. Rose has been sold to another fantastic home, where she will hopefully become both an excellent childs pony, and a useful broodmare.

Kohatu Over The Moon

Kohatu Over The Moon is our 2007 filly, and a full sister to Kohatu Rose Moon. We're a little disappointed that she is going grey - we rather like the scandalous chestnut she was born with. Regardless, this is a very nice filly - compact, well balanced, and all pony. This one is definitely something special, and at this stage will stay with Kohatu.

Kohatu Solar Flare

Kohatu Solar Flare (Flash). A 2008 model full sister to the above two ponies, and likely the last foal ever by Lonsdale Moonwind. This one has stayed a scandelous orange, and is really set to increase the reputation of chestnut mares!
